Drawtober 2020 Art Challenge
My 4th year doing an art challenge. This year I call my creative quest: the wayfarer’s guide to oblivion.
My guide is Drawtober’s 6 prompts over 5 weeks with some extra illustrations.
My inspiration will come from the works of Edward Gorey, Charles Addams, Maurice Sendak, Tim Burton, Quentin Blake, Chris Riddell, Ralph Steadman, Shel Silverstein, David Petersen, Richard Thompson, and Shaun Tan.
Sometimes their work leans towards the macabre, disturbing and dark whimsical humour.
You can also see my artwork on his instagram feed here: https://www.instagram.com/derekmoorhouse/

In which Piglet suggests an adventure for the first and last time.
“I don’t know Piglet,” said Pooh. “There might be heffalumps and woozles.”
A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh characters in Ernest H. Shepard’s style. What if the 100 Acre Wood was next door to Halloween Town.
Maybe this would explain Piglet’s demeanour.
